This year, RCTV Ch. 36 is 5 and ALIVE!

When a local channel survives a year, that is commendable. But when a local channel reaches five years in the business, well that is no easy feat! RCTV Ch. 36 is proud to claim that it is the innovator of local television here in Cebu. Yes, we are Cebu’s first infotainment channel.

During the past few years, we have been creating, innovating, improving and daring things that no one would have tried to risk. Failure was never an option, and we only saw failure as something to help us improve our channel.

Now we are witnessing the births of so many other local channels and we are proud to say that we have pioneered this industry, and yes, we are still very much alive.

And so, we would like to celebrate our 5th anniversary by celebrating life and the people that make life worth living through our campaign aptly called 5 & ALIVE.

We have already kicked off our celebration with a Medical Mission last August 16, 2008 held at the Guadalupe Elementary school. This month of September, we are partnering with World Vision, a non profit organization that supports children’s education. It is our way of giving back to the Cebuanos, for without their support, there would never be a REAL Cebu Television.

Come October (our anniversary month), we will be bringing out a series of events wherein we aim to tell Cebu that we are here to stay!
